Faculty Instructions:

• Firmly grip the handle with one hand while gripping the elastic air launcher with your other hand.
• Fully extend your arm and pull straight back on the elastic air launcher.
• Release the elastic air launcher to launch a powerful yet harmless ball of air.
• Make a tower of empty cans and knock it over with the air.

Concepts Conveyed:

• Vortex launcher that sends a strong blast of air all the way across a room. Ideal for showing that air is a form of matter and demonstrating the Bernoulli effect. It can be used to blow out candles from up to 20 feet away.

Demo Staff Notes:

• Include box of empty cans with demo.
