Instructions / Notes:

• Two Chladni plates are sprinkled with sand, which are then are excited with a violin bow.
• Violin bow should be well rosined before using.
• Hold the bow perpendicular to the plate. - Then move the bow in a single stroke against the edge of the plate.
• Hold your thumb against the plate near to where the bow makes contact to force a nodal point on the pattern.
