4E20.40 • Constant Temperature: Balloon in a Vacuum

Instructions:
- Turn on vacuum pump using the switch on the back of the pump.
- Once the balloon is at its maximum size and touching the sides of the jar, turn off pump.
- Try a cup of fresh marshmallows. Bring your own.
- A partially blown up balloon is inside a sealed bell jar.
- As the pressure in the chamber decreases, the balloon expands.
- Plug in the vacuum pump and make sure the valve is turned all the way right.
