Wankel Engine

Instructions / Notes:
- Demo Staff: This demo shows the cross section of a Wankel engine, a type of internal combustion engine that converts pressure into rotating motion.
- Compared to other piston engines, the Wankel engine has more uniform torque, less vibration, is more compact and weighs less, it also has high power-to-weight ration, making them ideal for light aircraft.
- Other applications: automobiles, chainsaws.
- Simulate the intake, compression and exhaust stages of the Wankel engine by rotating the handle at the back of the model.
- A small LED lamp is used to simulate a spark plug to indicate ignition triggered by air pressure.
